Somlight Printing

My name is Abdiqani Mohmoud and I am the founder of Somlight Digital Printing had always loathed the necessity of getting a job and working a lengthy 8 hours or more but also I have always dream of owning a business one day. Due to my lack of resources in financials and skills, my dream did not seem possible until I joined Hargabits digital design academy of Shaqodoon. I went to the academy to study digital skills and hopefully start a business within the skills acquired. I have learnt so many technical and soft skills during my time in the academy, mostly recalling the entrepreneurship trainings which made special meaning for me, this course has been a great inspiration and pushed me to start my business as I have gained some knowledge on the know how. On the brink of graduating, Shaqodoon has held a business competition among the students in order to fund the most promising ventures, I have participated in the business completion and won a grant funding of $2,500. Somlight is a design and a printing unique service provider, the main objective is to fit the market needs that well-established businesses left vacant. Such as timing and marketing or branding strategy alignment, Services provided by Somlight include the designing and printing various promotional material like flyers, business cards, brochures and stand banners. I have started the business to create jobs for myself and for my peers, in order to achieve this goal, Somlight requires to obtain more funding $750 to cover most of the startup costs.
