Khayria Farm

My name is Khayria Ali.I was a part-time teacher in Qul-jeed secondary school, a small suburb town located just outside Borama city, I have mingled with the community and that is when I realized the need for fresh groceries in the town and in the neighboring towns and how close Qul-jeed is to Borama made it a very strategic place to start a farm. Addition to my passion for entrepreneurship I have decided to start a farm at Qul-jeed in the hopes of creating sustainable food chain I have started with my savings and land I got from my Father I have irrigated, made a damn and got a water pipe from the town water source and hired farmers and eventually harvested and sold the products to retailers. This prototype has worked very well, but still, it needs a lot of development like establishing a retail route to Borama and to other markets, that is why am raising $2000 to hire more people and grow the farm per production.
